Timothy Hannigan

Timothy Hannigan serves as a Firefighter with the City of Bridgeport, Connecticut, since August 2014, currently assigned to Rescue 5, with prior experience in multiple ladder and engine units. In addition, Timothy is a County Fire Instructor at Westchester County since March 2019 and holds the position of Assistant Chief at Purchase Fire Department Inc. since March 2017. Earlier, Timothy volunteered as a firefighter with the Village of Port Chester from January 2009 to January 2015 and with the Town of Greenwich from February 2007 to August 2014. Timothy also worked as a qualified Journeyman lineman at Connecticut Light and Power from June 2008 to August 2014. Educationally, Timothy earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety Administration from Charter Oak State College and has completed various fire academy programs and an Associate's degree in General Studies.
