Jesse Koan Smith

Jesse Koan Smith is a multidisciplinary lecturer at City of Bristol College since February 2023, specializing in Level 2 Film & TV while also contributing expertise to Level 3 Film and Level 2 Animation and Games Design courses. Prior experience includes serving as Course Lead for the Bristol Academy of Media's Level 3 Diploma in Animation and VFX at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College from August 2021 to February 2023, and managing Dive Comics from April 2016 to September 2021. Additional experience as a Nursing Assistant at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust lasted from September 2017 to August 2021. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Animation from the University of the West of England, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from The University of Roehampton, and multiple diplomas in multimedia and contemporary music.
