Danyal Malkani

Danyal Malkani is an experienced engineering professional specializing in project management and infrastructure development within municipal settings. Currently serving as an Engineer Project Manager for the City of Burnaby since June 2022, Danyal leads waterworks and sanitary sewer projects, conducts capital planning, and oversees asset management. Previously, from May 2019 to May 2022, Danyal worked as an Engineering Technologist for the City of Merritt, providing technical services for various public works projects, managing emergency operations during flooding, and administering contracts for infrastructure projects. Danyal holds a Master of Engineering in Transportation and Highway Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology.
