Chris Edwards

Chris Edwards, CISSP, currently serves as the Chief Infrastructure & Security Officer for the City of Carrollton since December 2020, while also owning and managing North Texas Cloud Guys, LLC, which specializes in cloud, network, and systems infrastructure design and consulting. Prior experience includes serving as an Enterprise Architect for the City of Plano, where collaboration with technology teams enhanced technical direction and network architecture, and as a Network Engineer for the City of McKinney, contributing to the development of a robust IT network. Earlier roles included positions as a Network Analyst and Administrator with Exelis Mission Systems, where responsibilities encompassed managing network operations for the U.S. Army's Regional Network Operations & Security Center, and a Technical Lead at GameStop, overseeing technician teams. Chris's career began as a Network Support Technician at eNet Solutions, focusing on customer service and technical support.
