Krista Johnston P.e.

Krista Johnston, P.E., serves as the Wastewater Operations Officer and Sanitary Sewer / Stormwater Manager for the City of Casper since November 2014, overseeing the management of the City's Sanitary Sewer and Stormwater Division with a focus on environmental and sustainability compliance. In addition to this role, Krista has chaired the Wyoming Water and Wastewater Agency Response Network since August 2017, facilitating cooperative disaster preparedness among Wyoming utilities. Previous experience includes serving as Project Engineer and Environmental Compliance Manager at Woodard & Curran - TREC, where responsibility included developing environmental compliance programs, and as Facility Environmental Engineer and Environmental Quality Engineer at ON Semiconductor, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and quality control. Krista's career began with an internship at Idaho National Laboratory focused on research about plutonium transport in the environment. Krista holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Systems Engineering, with a specialization in Environmental Engineering from the University of Idaho.
