Joann Wong

Joann Wong is a skilled professional with extensive experience in performance analysis and public policy. Currently serving as a Senior Performance Analyst at the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General since June 2021, Joann previously held positions as a Performance Analyst in the same office and a Policy Analyst at the Better Government Association. Joann's earlier roles include Health Policy Analyst at the Respiratory Health Association and Outreach Specialist at the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute. Additionally, Joann has consulted for the Chinese Mutual Aid Association and worked as an Education Consultant for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Joann's career began as an Owner/Operator of Joann Wong Photography and an intern at the Wisconsin Association of School Boards and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Joann holds a Master's degree in Public Affairs from the La Follette School of Public Affairs at UW-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a study abroad experience at Fudan University focused on Chinese Society and Politics.
