Veronica Sanchez

Veronica Sanchez is a seasoned human resources professional with significant experience and expertise in HR management and risk management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of People & Performance for the City of Cibolo since May 2024, Veronica previously held the position of Assistant Director of Human Resources and Risk Management for the City of San Angelo Texas from August 2019 to May 2024. Prior roles include Human Resources Manager at Mayfield Paper Company and Human Resources at WTX Oilfield Services. Veronica's tenure at the City of San Angelo from 2007 to 2018 included roles as Assistant Director of Human Resources & Risk Management and Human Resources Manager. Additionally, Veronica contributed to the Texas Municipal Human Resources Association as a Trustee and served as President of Concho Valley SHRM. A graduate of Western Governors University, Veronica holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Resources Management. Certifications include PHR, SHRM-CP, and CPM.
