Rhonda Sherman has extensive work experience in the public sector. Rhonda began their career in 1987 as an Economic Development Specialist for the City of West Hollywood. Rhonda worked in this role until 1997. In 1998, they joined the City of Citrus Heights, where they held various positions including Community and Economic Development Director and most recently, Community Services Director. Rhonda has been with the City of Citrus Heights since 1998.
Rhonda Sherman earned their Master's Degree in Urban Planning from UCLA between 1987 and 1989. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Urban Studies/Affairs at California State University, Northridge from 1982 to 1986. In 2017, they attended the Bill Lane Center for the American West Summer Institute at Stanford University, where they studied Local Governance.
