Chad McCollum

Chad McCollum has extensive work experience in the media industry, starting with their current role as the Economic Development, Housing & Communications Director at the City of Clovis since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Public Affairs and Information Manager at the same organization from March 2019 to November 2022.

Before joining the City of Clovis, McCollum worked at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. as the News Director for KGPE (CBS) & KSEE (NBC) Duopoly from April 2013 to March 2019. Chad also held the position of News Director at KGPE-TV from June 2009 to 2013, and previously served as the Assistant News Director at KGPE-TV from June 2007 to 2009.

McCollum's earlier experience includes working as a News Producer at KCBS-KCAL from 2005 to 2007, and as an Executive Producer and News Producer at KUSI from 1998 to 2005. Chad began their career as a News Producer at KSBY in 1997.

Chad McCollum completed their education at Brigham Young University, where they earned a BA in Broadcast Communications. Chad ended their studies in 1997.
