Mary Catherine Hyman

Mary Catherine Hyman, AIA, serves as Deputy City Administrator for the City of Conway, SC since September 2019, previously holding roles in the same city as Deputy City Administrator / Planning & Development Director and Planning Director from September 2017 to July 2021. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Planner at Horry County Government Planning and Zoning from November 2013 to September 2017, where Mary Catherine acted as the staff liaison to the Horry County Board of Architectural Review & Historic Preservation. Earlier career roles include Architect at InForm Studio and Usry Wolfe Peterson Doyle Architecture, as well as Intern Architect at Liollio Architecture. Mary Catherine holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Design from Clemson University.
