Cassandra Potter

Cassandra Potter, CPA, is an experienced accountant currently working for the City of Dearborn since November 2017. Prior to this role, Cassandra served as an Audit Senior and Audit Associate at Deloitte from September 2014 to October 2017, where responsibilities included performing year-end audits and quarterly reviews of financial statements in compliance with PCAOB, AICPA, GAGAS, and JSOX standards. Cassandra began their career as a Tax Intern at Hantz Financial in early 2014, preparing tax returns for a diverse clientele. Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Michigan State University (2012-2014) and an Associate's degree with a concentration in Japanese from Lansing Community College (2008-2011).
