Adam Moore, MPS, CLEE has extensive work experience in law enforcement and loss prevention. Adam began their career in 1997 as a Loss Prevention Officer at JCPenney before transitioning to the role of Senior Loss Prevention Manager in 1999. In 1999, they also started working as a Police Officer for the Village of Hiram, Ohio, and continued in this role until 2002. Moore joined the City of Delaware, OH in 2002 and has held various positions including Police Officer, Police Sergeant, Police Captain, and most recently, Interim Chief of Police. Adam is currently serving as the Chief of Police for the City of Delaware, OH.
Adam Moore, MPS, CLEE has a diverse education history in the field of public safety and criminology. In 2021, they attended the University of Virginia where they pursued a Master of Public Safety degree, specializing in Public Safety. Prior to that, in 2018, they completed a session (#272) at the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy.
Between 1995 and 2006, Adam pursued their undergraduate education at The Ohio State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology. Additionally, in 1996, they completed the OPOTC Basic Police Academy program at Sinclair Community College.
In terms of certifications, Adam obtained the Certified Law Enforcement Executive certification in February 2018 from the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police.
