William Smith has extensive experience in environmental services and water management, currently serving as the Environmental Services Supervisor for the City of Denison since September 2022. In this role, William oversees critical programs such as pretreatment, storm water management, FOG, water quality, and cross connection/backflow, focusing on community and watershed protection. Prior to this position, William held various roles in wastewater and water treatment across organizations including the North Texas Municipal Water District and the City of Dallas. William holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Dallas, in addition to a Professional Wastewater Operator certification from Tarrant County College.
