Esther Williams Ed.d.

Esther Williams, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director and Assistant to the City Manager for the City of DeSoto, a role held since January 2022. Previously, Esther held the position of Magnet Program Manager for DeSoto ISD's A2E2 Magnet Programs from January 2018 to April 2022 and served as a Teacher within DeSoto ISD from 2016 to January 2018. Esther was also the Principal at Potomac Heights Christian Academy from July 2012 to June 2016, overseeing daily administration and management of the school and its educators, and worked as an Art Teacher for Prince George's County Public Schools from August 2005 to June 2012, where lesson plans in art history, appreciation, creation, and critique were developed and implemented. Esther earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Liberty University between 2011 and 2020 and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2007.
