Donny Russell

Donny Russell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both music direction and tax investigation. Currently serving as the Music Director at Amazing Grace International Ministries since November 2015, Donny oversees the planning of rehearsals and instructs the Praise Team for Sunday services. Additionally, Donny has held a long-term position with the City of Detroit since March 1988, currently working as a Senior Income Tax Investigator, responsible for the collection of delinquent income taxes, conducting audits, and preparing tax revenue estimates. Previous roles at the City include Income Tax Investigator and Clerk, contributing to the administration of the Uniform City Income Tax Ordinance and customer service. Donny also served as Music Director at Greater Apostolic Faith Temple from October 2010 to November 2015, where responsibilities included planning rehearsals and selecting songs for worship services. Education was pursued through Wayne County Community College District.
