Eric Cooper

Eric Cooper is a seasoned procurement and operations professional with extensive experience in various managerial roles. Currently serving as a Procurement Manager for the City of Detroit, Eric previously spent nearly a decade at DSSI LLC, progressing from Inventory and Item Data Manager to Procurement Category Manager, where responsibilities included strategy validation and development for procurement categories. Prior to DSSI, Eric was with Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes, where roles ranged from Production Supervisor to Distribution Center Supervisor, managing significant operational processes and implementing performance-enhancing initiatives. Eric holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Davenport University and a BS in Organizational Administration from Central Michigan University.
