James Colin

James Colin has extensive experience in public service and administrative roles, currently serving as the City Clerk/Public Information Officer and Notary Public for the City of East Palo Alto since May 2018. Prior to this role, James was an Executive Assistant to the City Manager and worked as an Account Technician and Finance Intern at the same city from May 2014 to March 2018. Additional experience includes a position as a Knowledge Specialist Intern at FireEye, Inc. in 2015 and a Sales Intern at Google through Adecco Staffing in 2013. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical and Professional Writing from San Francisco State University and graduated from Eastside College Preparatory School in 2013.
