Amanda Harris

Amanda Harris is an experienced cultural arts professional currently serving as the Director of Cultural Arts & Special Events for the City of Elgin, IL since January 2019. In parallel, Amanda has held the role of Staff Liaison for the Elgin Cultural Arts Commission since November 2014 and previously coordinated the Elgin Art Showcase until January 2023. Prior positions include Director of Side Street Studio Arts and Executive Director of Core Project, along with roles at Grand Teton Lodge Company and MTSU Tucker Theatre. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre from Middle Tennessee State University, earned in 2010.
