Dianne Martinez

Dianne Martinez currently serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Emeryville and as the Director of the Policy Board at VELOZ. With a diverse professional background, Dianne has also held leadership roles as Director and Member of the Board of Trustees at the Garfield Foundation, Chair and Board Member at East Bay Community Energy, and Commissioner at the Alameda County Fire Advisory Commission. Dianne's political experience includes serving as a City Council Member and Mayor for the City of Emeryville and as an elected member of the Alameda County Democratic Central Committee. Prior to their career in public service, Dianne worked in film and television production, holding positions such as Senior Producer at Sony Computer Entertainment America and Freelance Story/Associate Producer at Michael Hoff Productions. Dianne earned a BA in Critical Studies from the University of Southern California.
