Dave Huff

Dave Huff is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marine safety and technical engineering. Currently serving as Marine Safety Sergeant for the City of Encinitas since June 2021, responsibilities include supervising seasonal staff, conducting performance evaluations, and overseeing lifeguard operations. Previously, Dave was the President of the Encinitas Lifesaving Association from December 2008 to December 2022 and held various senior engineering roles at organizations such as CGI, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Hewlett-Packard, focusing on data center operations and system engineering. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Southern New Hampshire University, complemented by prior studies at MiraCosta College.
