Dustin Munn

Dustin Munn, MPA, serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Ennis since July 2021, following a tenure as Chief of Police for the Methodist Health System Police Department from January 2017 to July 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing law enforcement activities across multiple hospital facilities. Munn's law enforcement career began at the Corsicana Police Department, where duties as a Police Officer and Corporal spanned from January 1993 to June 2000. Prior to that, Munn held positions such as Corrections Officer with the Texas Department of Corrections and Co-Owner in the private security sector. Additional experience includes a significant role as Captain and Patrol Division Commander at the DeSoto Police Department from July 2002 to January 2017. Munn's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and various law enforcement management programs.
