Thomas Hovater

Thomas Hovater has extensive experience in emergency management and utility services, currently serving as an AMI System Administrator and holding various roles within the Electricity Department at the City of Florence, Alabama since August 2018. Prior to this, Thomas worked as a dispatcher for Florence-Lauderdale 911 and the Florence Lauderdale Emergency Management Agency. Thomas's educational background includes pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Fire Administration at Columbia Southern University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of North Alabama. Additionally, Thomas earned an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Shelton State Community College.
