Chiquita Barkley

Chiquita Barkley is an experienced financial leader currently serving as Chief Financial Officer for the City of Forest Park since March 2022, while also holding multiple consulting roles within the City of Atlanta's Finance Department since January 2018, focusing on financial performance and operations. Barkley has been the County Controller for Butts County since 2013, overseeing financial management practices and the implementation of a $58M annual budget. Previous roles include Business Manager at the City of Atlanta from June 2005 to April 2013, where responsibilities included overseeing strategic initiatives and managing a budget of over $300M. Barkley holds an MBA from DeVry/Keller Graduate School of Management and a B.Sc. in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Mercer University.
