Tommy Moore

Tommy Moore currently serves as the Mayor of Gainesville, Texas, a position held since May 2021. In addition, Tommy has been the President of the Medal of Honor Host City Program of Gainesville, Texas, Inc. since June 2017, promoting patriotism and character development through the hosting of Medal of Honor recipients. Tommy's extensive experience with the Federal Aviation Administration began in June 1994, where roles have included Service Integrity Program Manager and SI-RAP Program Manager, overseeing risk monitoring for the National Airspace System. Previously, as a Senior Auditor, Tommy provided independent quality control oversight within Air Traffic Organization safety assessments. Tommy earned a Bachelor of Applied Science from North Central Texas College from 1997 to 2000.
