Sharon Hernandez is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the Communications Coordinator for the City of Goshen, Indiana, since September 2016, where responsibilities include managing internal and external communications and social media efforts. Prior experience includes a role as a general assignment reporter at The Elkhart Truth from May 2012 to September 2016, covering the City of Goshen and Elkhart County, along with prior positions as Chief Reporter and News Editor at The Ball State Daily News. Sharon also gained experience as a news intern at The Commercial Review. Sharon holds a B.A. in Journalism and Spanish from Ball State University, obtained in 2012.
