Danny Weigel

Danny Weigel serves as Patrol Commander and Administrative Commander - Training at the University of North Dakota since January 2012. In these roles, Danny Weigel is responsible for the professional development and law enforcement training of personnel, along with managing various investigative and public information duties. Additional experience includes serving as City Councilman in Grand Forks since June 2016 and holding leadership positions within the Valley Officials Association. Prior roles include Deputy Sheriff at Walsh County Sheriff's Office and Mobile Manager at Best Buy. Danny Weigel's academic credentials encompass a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of North Dakota, complemented by specialized training in police staff and command.
