Becky Schimmel

Becky Schimmel has extensive experience in public administration, currently serving as the City Clerk for the City of Grandview since February 2004. In this role, responsibilities include official records management, office management, execution of general and special elections, and issuance of liquor licenses and other permits. Previously, Becky held the position of Assistant City Clerk, where contributions included preparing agendas, writing newsletters, managing office accounting and payroll, assisting the Mayor and City Administrator, and documenting Aldermen meetings. Prior experience includes a role at the News Bureau at UMKC, focusing on writing and editing news releases and promoting campus activities. Becky holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Central Missouri and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Bonozon Healthcare Pvt Ltd.
