Angela Thompson

Angela Thompson has over 38 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and accounting. Currently serving as a Budget Analyst and Senior Financial Analyst for the City of Griffin since July 1996, Angela has applied extensive expertise in financial management. Prior to this role, Angela worked at First Community Bank of Henry County from August 1987 to July 1996, where positions included Accounting Manager, Head Teller, and Teller/Customer Service Representative. Earlier experience includes a role as a Proof Operator at Trust Company Bank from August 1985 to March 1987. Angela completed education at Gordon State College and graduated from Henry County Senior High School.
