Russell Archer

Russell Archer is an experienced professional in historic preservation, currently serving as a Historic Preservation Planner for the City of Hattiesburg since June 2015. Prior roles include Program Accounts Supervisor at Merchants FoodService from February 2014 to June 2015, and Historic Consultant at Archer Preservation Consulting, LLC from May 2011 to February 2014, specializing in historic preservation, rehabilitation, surveys, tax credit assistance, research, and grant writing. Russell Archer also coordinated the Mississippi Landmark Program with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History from March 2006 to February 2011, overseeing projects related to "Mississippi Landmarks" and providing technical and grant assistance for preservation initiatives.
