Jameson Hughes

Jameson Hughes has served as a Police Officer (Patrolman First Class) with the Havre de Grace Police Department since October 2006, where responsibilities include enforcing laws, responding to calls, conducting investigations, and participating in community service programs. Jameson co-founded the bait bike program, served as a Crisis/Hostage Negotiator, and maintained proficiency in firearms. Additionally, Jameson held roles as a Gang Resistance Education And Training (G.R.E.A.T.) Instructor and School Resource Officer, teaching various law-related topics and conflict management skills. Previous experience includes positions with the Harford County Sheriff's Office Crisis Negotiation Team and the Harford County Drug Task Force, focusing on crisis negotiations and narcotics investigations. Educational credentials include an ongoing Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Criminal Justice, as well as a Visual Communication degree from the Community College of Baltimore County.
