Eddie Sell has extensive work experience in the field of firefighting and emergency services. Eddie is currently serving as the Fire Chief/Executive Director at Hemet Fire & Life Safety Agency, where they oversee various departments and ensures efficient response and customer service. Prior to this, Eddie worked as the Fire Chief for the City of Hemet.
In 2016, Eddie founded Fire Mentors, demonstrating their commitment to sharing their expertise with others in the field. Before that, they had a long career at the Long Beach Fire Department, where they held various roles including Fire Battalion Chief, Fire Captain, and FF/PM.
Eddie also has experience as a business owner and chef, having owned Firehouse Chefs from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, they served as an Engineer/Paramedic and FFl & FFII at the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) from 1994 to 2000.
Early in their career, Eddie served in the US Navy as a Culinary Specialist from 1991 to 1994. Overall, Eddie Sell's work experience spans over three decades and encompasses a wide range of roles in firefighting, emergency services, mentoring, and culinary arts.
Eddie Sell has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General from California Coast University. Eddie also has a certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic from the Paramedic Training Institute. Eddie has completed the Certified Chief Fire Officer Series at San Diego Miramar College. Furthermore, they obtained a Culinary Graduate degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training while serving in the US Navy. Additionally, Eddie holds a Chief Officer certification from California.
