Tamara Faulkner

Tamara Faulkner is an experienced Library Outreach Coordinator at the City of Hickory since February 1994, where responsibilities include managing a city-wide senior outreach program. This involves delivering library materials, providing programs for seniors, and collaborating with community agencies to enhance library services for homebound and special needs older adults. Tamara also promotes library services through speaking engagements and various media outlets. Prior to this role, Tamara served as a Customer Service Manager at Super K-Mart from May 2003 to February 2004, overseeing front-end operations and supervising a large team of cashiers while maintaining a high customer satisfaction rate. Tamara holds a B.A. in English, magna cum laude, from Catawba College and a high school diploma from St. Stephens High School.
