Mark Vanderploeg

Mark Vanderploeg has extensive experience in urban planning and community services, serving as City Planner and Director of Community & Neighborhood Services for the City of Holland since October 1995. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Township Planner for Caledonia Charter Township in Kent County, MI from 1990 to 1995, and served as Village Planner and Zoning Administrator for the Village of Middleville between 1990 and 1994. Mark Vanderploeg holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor's degree in History from Western Michigan University.
