Matt Helmus

Matt Helmus has extensive experience in public administration and management, currently serving as the Development Manager for Windmill Island Gardens with the City of Holland since October 2015. Prior to this role, Matt held various positions at Ferris, including Pricing & Information Analyst, Customer Service Manager, Inventory Control Specialist, and Customer Service Representative from October 2007 to October 2015. Earlier experience includes an internship at the West Michigan Environmental Action Council and a congressional internship with Congressman Pete Hoekstra. Matt began professional development as a Data Warehouse Intern at Fannie Mae from June 2002 to August 2004. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Grand Valley State University, a Certificate in Biblical/Theological Studies from Kuyper College, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Alma College.
