Kassandra Myers

Assistant Director- Public Utilities Operations at City of Hollywood, Florida

Kassandra Myers has a diverse work experience in the field of public utilities and water management. Kassandra started their career in 1991 as a Senior Project Engineer at AECOM (former Metcalf & Eddy) and worked there until 1998. From 1999 to 2007, they served as a Natural Resources Specialist III at Broward County Water & Wastewater Services, where they were responsible for regulatory compliance and waste management. In 2007, they joined Broward County as Manager Compliance before transitioning to Broward County Water & Wastewater Services as Utilities Operations Manager from 2009 to 2013. Kassandra then became the Operations Manager - Technical Services at Broward County Water & Wastewater Services from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined the City of Hollywood, Florida, where they held various roles, including Water Quality Manager and Acting Deputy Director - Operations. Currently, they serve as the Assistant Director- Public Utilities Operations at the City of Hollywood, Florida.

Kassandra Myers began their education journey in 1983 at Bethune-Cookman University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Kassandra studied there until 1986 before transferring to the University of Florida. At the University of Florida, from 1986 to 1990, they focused their studies on Environmental Engineering and completed their Bachelor of Science degree. Throughout their education, Kassandra demonstrated a diverse academic background, with degrees in both Mathematics and Environmental Engineering.
