Nick Poolos

Nick Poolos is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and network management. Currently serving as a Systems Engineer for the City of Lake Stevens since November 2022, Nick has also been the IT Manager for the City of Homer, Alaska, since October 2011. Previous roles include Infrastructure Specialist at the State of Ohio - RSC, focusing on virtual data centers, and Network/Systems Engineer at The Ohio State University, where Nick re-architected and managed Cisco networks across multiple campus buildings. Early career highlights include serving as VP of Software Development at StarBak Communications and as a Network Engineer at The Ohio State University, where Nick oversaw DNS and developed network monitoring systems.
