Lauren Hirano

Lauren Hirano has a diverse work experience in various HR and recruitment roles. Lauren started their career at the University of California, Irvine as a Managing Editor, where they oversaw a team of 40 students and implemented new marketing strategies. Lauren then joined the County of Orange, where they worked as a Recruiting Staff Assistant, Employment and Eligibility Specialist, and Senior Recruiter, managing recruitment processes for different departments and partnering with internal managers. Currently, they are employed at the City of Irvine as a Human Resources Analyst, overseeing recruitment processes for a large organization, managing the HR recruitment team, and leading outreach to attract qualified candidates and engage the community. Overall, Lauren has proven expertise in recruitment and HR management.

Lauren Hirano has a Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Psychology from UC Irvine. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in Human Resources Management, Concussion in Sports, and is registered in the National Coaches Registry. The Human Resources Management Certificate Program was obtained in September 2016 from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education. Lauren obtained the Concussion in Sports certification in December 2014 from the National Federation of State High School Associations.
