Jonathan Greene

Jonathan Greene is an experienced public administration professional currently serving as the City Manager for the City of Jackson since February 2020. Greene previously held the position of Assistant City Manager for the same city from April 2014 to February 2020 and served as Executive Director of the City of Jackson Downtown Development Authority from February 2009 to June 2015. Prior roles include Economic Development Coordinator for Eaton County from March 2005 to January 2009 and an internship in Financial Services, Planning, and Economic Development with Oakland County from October 2003 to August 2004. Jonathan Greene holds a Master of Public Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and Public Policy from Oakland University.
