Christian Popoli is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in urban and regional planning. Currently serving as a Senior Planner for the City of Jacksonville Beach since May 2021, Christian has previously held positions such as City Planner Supervisor and City Planner in the City of Jacksonville from March 2014 to May 2021. Prior to that, as an Independent Contractor from September 2012 to March 2014, Christian provided planning consultancy services, including code review and feasibility assessments. From June 2006 to April 2012, Christian was the City Planner for High Springs, overseeing all aspects of planning, redevelopment, and project management for significant construction initiatives. Christian began a career in planning as a Graduate Intern at the University of Florida's Center for Building Better Communities in 2005. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Central Florida.
