John Hunter

John Hunter is an experienced finance and community leader currently serving as Senior Vice President and Tri-Cities Community President at Trio South Bank, a position held since August 2024. Hunter also serves as a City Commissioner for the City of Johnson City since November 2018. Previous roles include Commercial Relationship Manager at First Community Bank, CEO of Beacon Financial Credit Union, and Board Member and Vice Chair of the Johnson City School Board. Hunter's earlier career includes positions as a Commercial Relationship Manager and Vice President at various banks, as well as experience in sales at KAM Sales Inc and TPI Corporation. Educational qualifications include a degree in Marketing from East Tennessee State University, alongside studies at the Southeastern School of Banking and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
