Debra Srebnik is an experienced public leader and analyst with a robust background in policy development and program evaluation. Currently serving as a City Councilmember for the City of Kenmore since January 2017, Debra has led initiatives such as the Climate Action Plan and the complete census count to improve equitable responses. Prior to this role, Debra was a Climate Policy Analyst at the Washington Department of Commerce and held various leadership positions at King County, including Contract Lead to the King County Regional Homelessness Authority and Homeless Housing Program Manager. Debra's earlier experience also includes positions at Pioneer Human Services, the University of Washington as a Clinical Associate Professor, and Pierce County as a Research and Evaluation Coordinator. Debra holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Washington.
