Brandon Forrest has a diverse work experience in various government ministries and organizations. Brandon is currently working as the Director of Business, Real Estate, and Environment at the City of Kingston since June 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Manager of Local Government and Housing at the Ontario Public Service from December 2016 to June 2020. From July 2015 to December 2016, they served as an Implementation Project Manager at the Community Hubs Secretariat, Cabinet Office, and as a Manager of Intergovernmental Affairs at the Ministry of Education from September 2014 to July 2015. Before that, they worked as an Executive Assistant to a Special Advisor at the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities from August 2013 to July 2015. In their earlier career, they held positions such as Manager of Strategy, Performance, and Change Management, and Senior Project Manager at the Ministry of Education from July 2012 to July 2015 and January 2009 to June 2012, respectively. Brandon also worked as a Project Manager at Davis and Henderson, Credit Solutions Group, and as a Manager of Finance and Business Services at the Ministry of Government Services. Overall, Brandon has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as business, real estate, local government, housing, intergovernmental affairs, strategic planning, and project management throughout their career.
Brandon Forrest received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Western University, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Diploma in Post Grad - Business Administration at St. Lawrence College from 2004 to 2005.
