Tony Curtis has a diverse range of work experience in the field of IT and Geomatics Engineering. From 1999 to the present, they have worked at the City of Kissimmee, starting as a GIS Specialist and eventually becoming the Assistant I.T. Director and GIS Manager. During their tenure, they provided leadership and management to the IT department, oversaw various systems such as GIS, GPS, Engineering, and Public Safety, and managed the IT Service Desk and technology procurement for the entire city. Prior to this, Tony worked as a Geomatics Engineer at Natural Resources Canada from 1997 to 1999.

Following that, from 1997 to 1999, they pursued a Diploma in Technology Management & Entrepreneurship at the U.N.B. - Dr. J. Herbert Smith Centre for Technology Management and Entrepreneurship.
In 2006, Tony Curtis enrolled at the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, where they earned an MBA (Master of Business Administration) in Business Administration and Management, General.
In 2010, they attended The John Scott Dailey Florida Institute of Government, Florida State University, for the CGCIO (Certified Government Chief Information Officer) program in Information Technology Management.
In terms of certifications, Tony Curtis obtained multiple certifications throughout their career. Tony acquired the Geographic Information Services Professional (GIS) certification from the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI) in January 2005. Tony also obtained the Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO™) certification from CompTIA's Public Technology Institute in July 2011. Furthermore, they received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2012.
