Tierney Helmers

Tierney Helmers currently serves as the Communications Manager for the City of Lakeville, where responsibilities include managing the strategic communications plan since September 2016. Prior to this role, Tierney held various positions at Lockheed Martin from 2003 to 2015, including Sr. Manager of Branding and Marketing Communications, where orchestration of branding for a $7B business area was a key responsibility, and Marketing and Customer Communications Manager, overseeing integrated communications plans and managing a multi-million dollar budget. Earlier in the career, Tierney worked at Space Imaging from 1996 to 2003, with roles such as Manager of International Marketing, focusing on global marketing campaigns and branding initiatives. Education includes a BA in Journalism/Public Relations from South Dakota State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
