Cynthia Alvarado is a multi-disciplinary artist and educator with extensive experience in curatorial and community engagement roles. Currently serving as Curatorial Assistant at the Museum of Art and History's Cedar Center for the Arts (MOAH:CEDAR), Cynthia also leads a free Figure Drawing Program and has demonstrated strong supervisory skills in managing art program leaders and educational initiatives. Freelance work includes community tutoring through "Drawing with Friends" and serving as a field correspondent for LA Art Documents. Cynthia's past roles encompass security and advisory positions at UC Davis, contributing to both public safety and student support. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Religion from the University of California, Davis, and participation in the Manetti Shrem International Artist Residency at the Royal Drawing School.
