Elaine Simpson

Elaine Simpson is a seasoned city secretary with extensive experience in local government administration. Currently serving as the City Secretary for the City of Liberty Hill, Texas since May 2022, Elaine previously held positions as City Secretary and Human Resources Director for the City of Granite Shoals, Texas from June 2013 to May 2022. Prior roles include Deputy City Secretary and Interim City Secretary for the City of Garland and City Secretary for cities such as Haslet, Seagoville, and Seymour. Elaine holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of North Texas, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government/History from The University of Texas Permian Basin, and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Odessa College.
