Sheridan Richards has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Starting off as an Executive Director at Circle Y Ranch Camp & Conference Center in 2013, they then moved on to become a Human Resources Generalist at Wheaton College in 2016. In 2018, they joined Insperity as a Regional HR Specialist/HR Manager before transitioning to Arkansas Children's Hospital in 2019 as an HR Business Partner. Later that year, they became the Executive Director of Organizational Development and People & Culture Partners at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Currently, Sheridan holds the position of Chief People Officer at the City of Little Rock, which they started in 2023.
Sheridan Richards holds a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy & Administration from Northwestern University. Prior to that, Sheridan obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Additionally, Sheridan has a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. In terms of certifications, Sheridan has completed the Leadership Circle for Healthcare Executives program at the University of Arkansas Walton School of Business. Other certifications include Certified Executive Coach from the Physician Coaching Institute, Culture Change Agent from Compass, Emotional & Social Competency Inventory from Korn Ferry, Facilitator from DDI | Development Dimensions International, Prosci Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci, and SHRM-CP from the Society for Human Resource Management.
