Brent Vanrooyen

Brent VanRooyen is an experienced Geographic Information Systems Technician currently employed by the City of London, Canada, since June 2022. Previously, Brent served as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst and Research Assistant at Environment and Climate Change Canada, where significant contributions included calculating chemical loads in Canadian watersheds and preparing official reports. Brent also held roles at the University of Waterloo as a Geospatial Center Front Desk Assistant and at Statistics Canada as a GIS Analyst, focusing on address validation for the 2021 Census. Brent holds a Graduate Certificate in Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Commercial Operations from Fanshawe College and a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Waterloo.
