Katerina Barton

Katerina Barton currently serves as the Director of the LIFE*SPIN Board since March 2024 and has held the position of Manager of Finance & Planning for the London Fire Department in the City of London, Canada, since November 2019. Katerina has also contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Western University, where responsibilities included grading and providing feedback for various health science programs from 2018 to December 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Leader of Special Projects and Project Lead for the Zero Suicide Initiative at St. Joseph's Health Care London, data coordination in perioperative services, and analysis for the South West Regional Cancer Program. Katerina has an extensive educational background, obtaining a PhD in Health & Rehabilitation Sciences, a Master's in Leadership from the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor of Science from Western University, alongside a Pharmacy Technician Diploma with Presidential Honours from Westervelt College.
