Grant Penland

Grant Penland is an experienced planning and development professional currently serving as the Planning & Development Services Director and Development Project Administrator for the City of Longmont since September 2022. Prior to this role, Grant worked for the City of Thornton, Colorado, as Planning Director and Current Planning Manager from March 2016 to September 2022. Previous experience includes the position of Principal Planner for the City of Westminster from July 2013 to February 2016, Senior Planner for the Town of Parker between April 2004 and July 2013, and Planner for the City of Surprise from 2000 to 2004.
